Aww. Olive. ♥

PD is phenomenal in the fact that I love every single character on the show. That's kinda rare for me. Sure there's plenty of shows, like House, where I like all the characters - but it's a rare show that makes me love everyone involved.

(Also - love the way you've captured the show's whimsy here. You're awfully good, you know)

Awwwww! OK, not only is it perfectly true to the show in tone, but you've captured her whole life in five vignettes -- really excellent! Thank you!

This is adorable. I love Olive staring at the pie to concentrate her energy on that pie, the line about singing for sorrow because there's nothing on TV, and Ricky Rider Rockingham using a jetpack.

This also manages to sound like Pushing Daisies without going over the top with twee dialogue, which can be difficult to do.

Thank you, ♥

I love Pushing Daisies unreasonably. Every time I think it's going to be a little too much, it surprises me. I absolutely adore Emerson, just because he can undercut the sweetest of scenes. And I have a deep and passionate love for all of the characters and Ned/Chuck. And everything, really. I used to spend every week looking forward to Dexter and Pushing Daisies.

Aaah, these are just fantastic! The counting of the hours and the jetpack just made it feel so much like the show, the way that she snapped back and forth with Emerson, the way that the narration was so smooth and flowing - it all felt like the actual show - I could hear Jim Dale reading it to me! Just wonderful!

I love Pushing Daisies to teeny-tiny pieces.
