Beautiful fic, Loz! I would have loved to see more of post-coma Sam in 2006 and the way he struggled to recover before he made his choice to go back to 1973. The show didn't grant my wishes, but you just did, and I'm really grateful for that. :)

You can feel the cloud of depression that has enveloped Sam in this. We really did need to see more of his state of mind after he woke up and I don't think the writer's planned the ending very well. I am so glad that we have you to do it for them. This could and should be canon.
