I like rising to challenges and my holidays start next week, so - Name any number of fics you think I will never, ever, ever write. In return, I will attempt to write a snippet of (at least) one of them.

Take everyone you’ve ever wanted to be, mash ‘em into a pulp, put it through the strainer and toss out the juice. What you’re left with is you. I am less than half the man he is, but he treats me with respect. I’ll never get over that. He tells me things he’d normally not tell anyone. I listen; procedure and white hats and the done thing, and I don’t agree with him at all, I think Harry’s too idealistic for his own good. I’ll never say it. We’re best this way. I can be his crutch. He can be my pillar.

Sometimes I wish that was all it was between us. God knows it’s not right. But I’m trapped. Under him at this moment. And it’s good. Horrible admission, but true. There’s nothing I want more than his hips snapping into me, his fingers hard in my flesh, his moans, my grunts. The smell of it. The taste. He makes me weak. And I like that. Never thought I would. I’ve always tried to be the main man, the one in charge. But I’m his subordinate, in more ways than one ( ... )

Thank you so much, I've been waiting for a fic like that since I saw S2E2.
Loved young Genes voice, and Harry being idealistic, and the way you portrayed their relationship.

*giggles* There used to be these commercials here, I think by the Wisconsin Dairy Board or something similar. But their taglines were "Behold the power...of CHEESE!!!" That's what I thought of when you said "the healing power of porn." XD

This was very nice. And to be honest, I haven't really done much thinking about Harry Woolfe in a sexual context, and yet what did *I* ask for? XDXDXD Still, you do it so well. I think because to you (as to anyone worth their salt writing, fic or otherwise), characters are themselves first and foremost, so it can never just be tab A + slot B = inst4pr0n. Yes, even when you go PWP. :)

Now I've got to think up a new title for the series still in my head. And maybe I should be offended that the fics you'd never write are the ones in my head. hmm, but yeah, this was going to be a series told from Sam's POV, but every time he sees Harry and Gene touch casually he has flashbacks to young!Gene/Harry and he charts that relationship until Gene breaks it off because he's fallen for the future Mrs. Hunt. But then the two drift apart and Gene confesses his regrets at that on Harry's deathbed with Sam at his side. Gene makes Sam promise he won't let them drift apart but Sam finds it too painful to be so close to a guy he can't have and then A2A happens. end.

but yeah, I love this :D

do I even have to write my series now?

Well, actually, this particular prompt was one I'd have done in a heartbeat when not urged, since I'd been thinking about it a while. So no, don't be offended. If you've ever been desperate to do Woolf/Prozzie!Sam/Rathbone, however, be offended all you like.

I say you write your series. It sounds like an interesting premise. :)

suddenly, I'm not as offended anymore :P

and as for the title, no worries, I'll think of another one. I've got various fics and series to finish before I start my Harry/Gene series so I've got plenty of time to think up a new title.

I ask again, why am I so slow?

I'm honestly not that quick. I mean, this was a snapshot, wasn't it? When you do your series it will be thousands of words. This was merely 300+. It takes me hours to write; an hour or more can be spent on a single sentence sometimes. I simply have the luxury of devoting time to it. And a pile of washing up to do.
