Who else is planning on doing NaNoWriMo this year?

This will be my first time participating and I am insanely excited. I know I can do this - I know I can! I wrote 19,000+ words in a short period of time with Forgetting Tomorrow, and that was with constant editing and University work and life pursuits ( Read more... )

I AM. I've been doing nano since 2002. *g*

This year, I'm doing a fanfic for the first time.

Fraser-as-a-faery. (With WINGS). Obligatory quest fic. RayK/Fraser. *coughs*

Fraser. WITH WINGS. (That is seriously my plot, ftw)

How have you been doing it that long?!

Hee. I'm not doing a fan fic, which is a bit "ooooh". Your idea sounds like it would be immense fun to win. You just know Fraser's been hiding wings back there - hence the constant covering up.

Oh, really? So it wasn't a rousing success story then? That worries me a bit.

10k on the weekend is pretty good.

Oh! Did you do it in English or German?

I think you're extraordinarily brave undertaking such a task in a language other than your first in the first place. I'm sorry it stopped you from writing for a while (though I understand it too).

I would love to do it, but unfortunately November is the month of my exams =( I heard about nano from my old writing buddy in school, and always wanted to do it but November is always exam time >_<. I've been wanting to write for a while but have not had motivation to.

Good luck with it, and I look forward to reading about your progress!

Ahh yes. This is the first time in years where November is going to be free of University work (though I still need to find a part-time job.)

I was toying with the idea of doing NaNoWriMo. I don't know if I'll complete it, but I think I'll give it a go :D
