In what may be the first time in forever I didn't have to automatically pinch hit and everyone got their first, second or third preference in the LoM ficathon. (Okay, there may have been one person that I didn't really give a choice to, but only one. Other years, up to three people have been given 4th and 5th choices and I had to auto pinch hit!)

It's meant to be a secret. One year I didn't even tell people who they were writing for. Basically, you can stalk your recipient, but you shouldn't contact them directly.

And, yes, I was aware today that at least one of the recipients is glaringly obvious in who they are, hahaha. I hadn't noticed before. :/ But at least they don't know who's writing for them!

If you think you can write more than one, why not? I mean, it depends whether your fic idea gets to be longer than the minimum, right? No one else should be writing for your intended recipient. You can also write fic based on anyone's prompts and post it after the fact, stating it was based on the prompt, if you like.

So if you're not auto-pinch hitting are you riding a bucking bronco in the rodeo this year?

If I knew what that meant, I would know how to answer it.

Oh! I'm not actually signed up myself, but I'll be really surprised if I don't end up pinch hitting at some point in the fest. It is the way of things.

I am hoping to attack LoMception some time this year.
