[And Luna will wander outside. She's got her wand over one ear and a paintbrush over the other, and there's flecks of white and green and blue in her hair and on her face and clothes, though she did an Impervius Charm to keep them off her face.]
[Hermione's going to ignore the paint smears and how Luna has chosen to carry things. She's sitting with her egg nestled in its basket on the table, her journal open next to it, and her book in her lap now.]
This. [She pulls out a piece of paper from a stack on the table and hands it to Luna.] Remember the DA Galleons? I used several of the same charms on this so we can all communicate with each other properly if we really need to.
[Luna is currently taking her Christmas holiday from school even though it isn't Christmas here. She feels she's earned a short break after this year, though the egg does remind her to enroll at some point soon.]
Oh! I still have that! Or at least I do at home. [Since it was money, it didn't make the transition with her.] Those were very clever; are these going to be very clever as well?
[Hermione really doesn't blame her all that much. She's just exceptionally thankful that this Luna hasn't been locked up in the Manor for months on end.
[...oh Luna, never change ♥]
Well I hope they are. I've done many of the same charms on these, but I'm still not certain if they'll hold for an extended period. You can write on yours, though, and we'll all see it. And if someone else writes on theirs, you'll see it on yours.
I've also charmed them to look like to-do lists if anyone else looks at them.

Did you finish them?
I haven't checked for Sirius's mirror, but I can go look around. I'm not sure what the charm was on it, but if the map can't be done, I dunno if the mirrors could. But that's a brilliant idea, and I'd feel better knowing she can get in touch with us.

...actually, there this one bit of information I really need, though probably not the sort you're expecting. A friend of mine named Edgar was kidnapped by the Malnosso recently. If you find him, could you please let me know? It's really important that I or anyone else reach him before Kefka does.
[Hermione might be startled by the sudden appearance of a large, silvery... werewolf, followed shortly thereafter by a laugh, and a head of spiky, bright pink hair. Tonks has been busy practicing the use of spells of varying difficulty since she found her wand the other day, and the Patronus, being a rather complex one, surprised her a bit with its strength.
Wotcher, Hermione! Just assessing relative difficulties here.
[She's having remarkably little trouble with the Patronus, though. The memory is such a strong one she's grinning as the animal lopes around the yard.]
Hey, Tonks! [she's kind of jealous that you have such an easy time of it, to be honest, but she's going to try to ignore that right now.] I suppose if the memory's strong enough, it would be.
[And she's going to pull out her wand and add the otter to it, though it takes her a few tries to get it to form again. Stupid mental component.]

I'll do - [She breaks off here, uncertain if she wants to continue over the journals.] I'll see what can be done.

Almost as good as a Cheering Charm, sometimes.
