[She sounds tired, interested in what she's doing, but very weary. Every so often, there's the rustle of a page, as though she's reading something. Knowing Hermione, she's in the library.]

These books are fascinating. I almost feel as though I'm back in my first school, studying for a test or something. Sciences, math, literature. Makes me miss the ( Read more... )

[Well if it isn't the girl with the bad hair he's recently met by mostly accidentally reading Draco's mind. Hisoka's curious to find out what makes her asinine, arbitrary presence stand out.]

Having this much time takes some of the fun out of literature.

I don't think so. Literature is meant to be read. If you have time for it, the effort is more than worth it.

[Oh. This is why Draco hates you. We get it now.]

Except it's completely passive and accomplishes absolutely nothing in terms of getting the hell out of here.

[Yeeeeep, Hermione's already not fond of you.]

How do you know that? There are loads of useful books in any library. You need only know how to find them.

[There are so many things he could say right now, but he doesn't have the heart to say them right now. Civility. Right. He promised. Still...it's Granger. We'll see how long this lasts.] Still worried about them?

That is indeed good to hear. It's been a while since I've had the time to sit down and read...And the only library nearby when I did didn't have much of a variety.

...Ah, forgive me, madam. I have yet to introduce myself. I am Ramirez.

I'm used to reading textbooks and the like, so this will be a very good variation.

I'm Hermione. It's very nice to meet you.

Alchemy... Such as the Sorcerer's Stone? Or does your world have a different kind of alchemy?

Madam Pince was a bit strict to be honest. I kept telling Harry, my friend, that she'd ban him one of these days. He just had a knack for irritating her.
