Release date for the UK is November 19 and for Germany November 22. By now it's almost a tradition for me to buy the UK edition. Much to the chagrin of my best friends eldest daughter who wanted to borrow POTC:DMC. She was devastated when she realized that the UK edition has no german sound track. Poor thing.
Hmmm that is a little odd. But I have a feeling Disney is hoping for Christmas DVD sales to boom and has to hold off as long as possible. Will be interested to see if the UK DVD has the same features.

That's the funny thing: all DVDs (UK, US, German) have the same features. And if memory serves me well, the UK edition of POTC:DMC had an earlier release date than the US as well. Funny, isn't it.
Maybe it's because there are so many British actors in the movie... /end silly joke
