Finally doing another round of movies reviews. Some are a mixture of things that are in theaters now, in limbo (not in theaters anymore or on DVD yet), and some on DVD. Kind of a usual post for me in other words

I think we're the only minority to think THE DEPARTED was a waste of time. I'm still contemplating why it won an OSCAR! I mean seriously, Scorcese only won an Oscar for a movie that was a Hong Kong movie.
Seriously, the original 'Infernal Affairs' is so much better!
Oh yay! Someone else that didn't like The Departed. I seriously don't get all the raves about that movie. At all. I mean some of the music was okay in it and it had a lot of 'big names' but blah :P
Am dying to read your review on Pan's Labryinth.
*g* I'll try and get that done here soon hun. Had I not had as many computer problems as I have I probably would have it done already. I might put in the score to get in the mood to write about it :)
I did see The Prestige in theater and absolutely loved it!
I saw the plot twists coming, but not in a 'I know what's gonna happen' sort of way: only as in 'That one, there's something wrong with him, but I haven't quite figured out what.' I love it when a film makes you think like that, really trying to solve the problem instead of having the answers fed to you.
Hehe see I didn't get the twin thing at all! I got everything else but that :P Although I rewatched the movie recently with a friend and I felt like hitting myself cause yeah, it was all right there on screen. But regardless I like the movie. I loved seeing how the music is used too cause I've had the score not too long after the movie came out in theaters as weird as that sounds :)
