[last half of his hesitant laugh can be heard slightly as the transmission starts]

W-What?

Didn't you want a warning before I came over again?

[Have some amused, evil sounding laughter.]

I- [He sighs, a bit annoyed] That isn't what I meant!

What's up?

I remembered how you mentioned you got stronger with your chip removed. I was curious... did it hurt? To have it removed? I know you're strong but I don't know. I'm just curious, I suppose.

I'm sorry if it's a rude question. You don't have to answer.

Non, non, don't worry about me. Someone with such a cute face shouldn't worry so much.

I was unconscious when it came out. You're sick for a day and that's it.

T-That's it? [whew] I thought it would be a lot worse then that... I don't know why.

Wait, but... um... you're stronger then me. What if I....
What is I got mine out? Do you think it would be the same?

I was born and raised vegetarian, so that should be easy enough. Anything in particular you're interested in? Oh, that's a good question for everyone, actually.

Really?!

Well, I never considered cooking it before so I have no idea what kinds of dishes can be made. I would like to make something for my roommate but she can't have any type of animal product. She said its hard for her to digest.

Really. I'm a monk, y'know. Since I was three.

That's easy enough, especially here. What about things like broth and eggs and milk, though? Does it have to be strict vegan, or is just vegetarian okay? If it's a health issue...

Either way, I'm sure we'll figure it out.

Amazing! I wouldn't have thought so at first but it makes sense.

She said she is unable to process animal protein. I would assume that means eggs.

It's a nice challenge, no? I'm so glad to know you're experienced in this sort of thing. Thank you!

There's classes being held now?

Reply

loyal_cube June 9 2009, 01:04:00 UTC
There are some self defense classes and a fencing class held over at the High School Gym and a cooking course at the Northern Lights Bar. Some other professors have mentioned teaching other classes but they've yet to start. I'm looking forward to them all!

Eh? That sounds really constructive. Do you know who's in charge of all that? I'd like to get in touch with them.

Well, back in my world, I wouldn't be able to have an opportunity like this.

Iroh-sama handles the Dojo in the High School Gym. Meditation starts at 7am.
Sorata-san is hosting the cooking class at the Northern Lights Bar.
Washu-san is trying to gather students for her science and physics classes.
And there is a lady by the name of Miss Susan who handles more classes but everyone is on summer break and I've been unable to ask her anything.

Does that help?

Vegan? Really? Do you not eat meat?

Oh, no no! I eat meat but my roommate can't. It's be nice to be able to cook for her as well, you know?

Oh, I see! That's really nice of you.

It's nothing. I thought it'd be rude if I didn't include her, you know? She's very nice.

Are you a vegetarian?
