I've thought of an interesting idea for the upcoming holidays. I'm not sure if it'll be possible but if we save ingredients, it might be.

I propose Cafe Alpha baking plain sugar cookies in simple shapes, like gingerbread men, trees, stars, candy canes, reindeer, or simple circles. Then, allow guests to decorate them as they please with colored ( Read more... )

staff, cafe, curious, christmas is next, holiday time, cookies, cafe alpha, hospital, chip info, doctors, lets get down to business

Well, we need to start preparing now if we're going to do anything.

I'm glad. I enjoy holidays and I'd like others to enjoy them too, with what we have.

It feels a little odd to not worry about nearby competition when we're the only cafe around, but perhaps it will be nice to work without pressure for once.

If you require help with preparations, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand. [And make very inappropriate skull-shaped cookies with Santa hats whenever he's bored.]

It'd be nice, but you and I both know competition is the least of our worries here.

Of course I'll need your help, granted it doesn't rain. I'll keep an eye out for more ingredients but we'll be making a lot of cookies for a while so be prepared.

I do still recall how to remove them... Between Washu and myself, I believe that the two of us you train you rather well.

Thank you Medicine Seller-san. I'll do my best.

Dr. Yagokoro has taught me well with many things but I have a lot more to learn.

I'm glad. Do you think people want to decorate cookies as presents, Rika-chan?

I think so. When we're able to decorate it on our own, we can give it our own touch. It will show how much heart we have put into it.

...They would be great gifts.

I found a few cookie cutters a while ago. So, you'll have a lot of shapes to choose from.

Next is making frosting with what little ingredients we have.

Christmas is a holiday celebrated on the 25th of December. There are many variations of it, where I've lived. Most commonly people will decorate a pine tree, of sorts, with lights and decorations for starters. Under it lay presents for the household. Some by family and other by friends. On Christmas, or Christmas eve, people will have a large meal in celebration. There are a number of drinks and foods that are common for the holidays ( ... )
