He hadn't been sleeping much the past few days-- hell, the past few weeks, and he passed out within seconds of hitting the couch cushions. His limbs were splayed, face pressed at an awkward angle into the sofa... and he was sleeping like the dead.]

Shinji blinked and shoved the gun right back into his coat, then tried to rub the sleep out of his bloodshot eyes. His beanie was tilted at an almost comical angle, and half of his hair was hanging out, poking in various directions.]
