I've said it before, I'll say it again: THIS. IS. MARVELOUS.

It's such fun, even while it's heartbreaking. Poor Aziraphale, poor Crowley.

The banter between them was so very them, and I think I smothered you with praise before, but I still want to say it again. You got them, but you also managed to tweak them just enough to make it easy to imagine how this decade between them affected them.

“FIRST you avoid me for a decade,” he railed, “then you insult me, then you mistake me for an idiot like Hastur, then you try to kill me, and then, to wrap it all up, you ogle me?”
Crowley is so delightfully dense. XD

SO good. Poor boys! My heart kind of broke at the angst of them being apart for so long. This was such a great fic, I really loved it! There ought to be more of this 'verse. ;)

Probably helped by the fact I had this song on endless repeat while reading it.

You got the complexities of their relationship so perfect, and the reversal of roles with Zira and his bookshop to Crowley with his bar was perfect. The allusion to Casablanca with Zira playing the piano (and the mentions of Queen) were absolutely wonderful, and I'm very much hoping you'll make this a verse or at least possibly writing a companion piece?

Also, the thing with the plant mister and the wet T-shirt kinda thing you have going for you there was bloody brilliant, but a part of me is wondering (considering how Crowley canonically deals with his 'flask') how Crowley discovered he was immune to HW, and that might be very interesting to read about, mightn't it? :D
