Neil Gaiman is coming to Singapore for the Singapore Writers' Festival, and tickets to go for his reading with Amanda Palmer, or his talk, are FREE but must be collected this Saturday at 11AM at the Arts House Box Office, if there are any Singaporeans/Malaysians here who are

We're not getting Neil, but Amanda Palmer's coming to perform in Knoxville. Tickets go on sale Friday. I've been sort of hoping that Neil would be there too, just to keep her company.

He was here for a con a few years ago, so I have met him (and have the autograph and, since it was Stardust, a drawing; yes, believe it or not, I hadn't read Good Omens at the time). He's a lovely, funny, totally sexy man. Good luck with getting tickets!

He drew this little crescent moon and stars...and then he said, "Do you know Charles Vess is here? Go get him to autograph your book too." Vess wasn't an official guest--he was just there to meet with Gaiman about something--but he was signing his stuff for folks. He took some time and drew this amazing lady-in-a-tree on the title page next to his signature. It made a gorgeous book even more so

And oooh yesss. He can't wear leather here, though, he'd melt. *shudder* Still, he does sound lovely. Hopefully my camera will not spontaneously combust from the pretty! Man, I'm hyperventilating already and it's more than a month away.

Yeah, apparently the response was overwhelming so they stated as much at the Writers' Festival website. No problem! <3
