OMFG Neil Gaiman has Twitter?! That may be the one thing on Earth that could persuade me to join. Can I view it even if I'm not a member?

*hands you tissue* I teared up too. God bless Terry Pratchett, and may he die the way he wishes to. And when Death finally comes for him, I suspect Sir Pratchett will greet him as an old friend, and give him a ham sandwich with the mustard in. And what comes after that? I'm so fond of quoting this line of both Pratchett's and Gaiman's: it's up to him.

*accepts* Thanks. On the one hand, I'd rather see Terry going gracefully than, well, letting it drag out. On the other hand, I just can't believe he's actually going to die at some point. It's so awful to think about.

Neil's twitter is at (twitter.com/neilhimself)

Goddamn, I love this man.

I really hope he's got a book or two left in him before he heads out. And when he goes, we'll be standing at the threshold waving goodbye.

He may be an atheist, but I think he gives credit to the good thoughts others can send him. Mine are sending a lot.
