He just posted a photo of the new probably-Czech edition of G.O., which "has the slashiest cover of Good Omens I've seen to date'.

Go on over to his blog and have a giggle at it. I don't know that I like the artwork all that much, but it's definitely cute!

*amused* That really is incredibly slashy. If I didn't know GO and I saw that cover, I would expect the pair on the cover to be in a relationship. XD

Hah..I know...I have it....
I am from Slovakia and we have only Czech translation here.I always thought(in comparison with the rest covers) how perfect this cover is for thoose two. XD....Artist who made cover , Martin Zhouf, is quite popular Science fiction/fantasy illustrator here...But Good omens cover is his slashy cover ever, other works are much more darker..I believe he done it on purpose;D he must have seen their potencial..And when Gaiman itself said it..Hehe
But translation is not that slashy as original, only few phrases..

Yes I know.Compqarin to original..English is still hard to exact translate.That because words in english have one word with many meanings..Czech not..Thats why he did not translated words with implications as consenting cycle repairman or nancy boys..It just didnt fit..I didnt even know Aziraphale uses phrases are My dear or dear boy until I read english version..
But of course main words like "southern pansy" and "gayer than....." was tranlated perfectly :D.
Well english original is always better and translated implications are still enough to corrupt wicked mind..But still, we have Slashy cover.XD..I secretly hoped there will be something on the other side of book..Eh like back or front of a picture...ugh and found nothing only book contents.. Oh sorry for lenght..
