Hi guys,

I found a snippet in the paper that shows how Terry Pratchett is coping with the seriousness of Alzheimer's - with his usual humour.

He said, "I want to go on writing books. You can't write books when you are dead, unless your name is L. Ron Hubbard.". (Hubbard is the founder of Scientology) I laughed out loud when I read it.

Is it one of those papers that you can find online? If so, can you post it up for us? It'd be nice to see the full article.

I'm still kinda ticked off that I haven't heard anything in the states about it. I swear Terry Pratchett is known in more places than just Britain... =/

(if not, then don't bother typing it up here, or anything =P )

Everyone knows elections and petty prostitution cases are far more important than writers!

(Unless they're writing about elections & prostitutes)

Oh, and 74 year old cockatoos at zoos. (actual news story on Fox news, today. Yes.)

And since Terry writes fantasy, why should the media bother about him? Honestly...

I feel so sad... I hope Terry Pratchett gets to write more...

*Has sudden strange and amusing vision of a group of Scientologists going to Discworld and inadvisedly trying to recruit Nobby Nobbs*
