This was excellent! You totally hit it out of the park. Great writing. Sounded uncannily canonical -- ie Gaiman/Pratchett (which while it's fairly easy to do a workaday knockoff of, is damn hard to do a quality knockoff of).
Really well voiced characterizations across multiple characters -- which is so rare. With just a few lines of dialogue, you hit true on everybody.
Crowley and the Phone Booth. Great how few visuals you put in - it's not like there's tons of descriptive writing -- yet how visual the scene comes across. Awesome.
Shadwell & Madame T -- possibly the section I love the mostest. Every word in that block is perfect. Shangri-Laurels -- by itself, worth the price of admission right there.
Ah, the (rapidly re-expiring) Bentley and bookshop, Biggles Goes to Mars, Pepper's cardboard-improved bicycle, the New Aquarian. Brings it all back...
