I really don't think that Crowley will ever quite get the hang of that whole 'accepting blame without serious angelic prompting' thing. Though, in all fairness, it was quite wrong of Bridget to attempt to coerce cheap conjuring tricks from a drunken minion of Satan.
Yay~. Given that I've never read/watched Bridget Jones's Diary, ... what was it I was going to say again? I think my brain just fell out due to the sheer brillance of this fic.
And I finally figured out what the figures at the very first line meant with all the 9st 4, 8st 4, 9st 4 business lol. If you did attempt to tell your readers who have not read BJD what it meant in this installment, you did so very cleverly indeed. Applause. :)

I really wasn't sure whether anybody who hadn't read the book would understand the 'list of vices and indulgences' (which Briget puts at the top of each day's entry in BJD the book), so am glad that it eventually made sense.
And I realise you won't get the joke in my new icon, but I am making one of Hastur and Ligur too, and when I make it you're welcome to snag it for i_hate_crawly. (The characters in the icon are from a kiddie book series I'm obsessed with, and one made an unfortunate comment which made it sound like they were doing something indecent.)

Yay, that'd be great. Poor Ligur currently has no icon due to my inability to make them.

I just read some of those unforunate comments on your site. It never ceases to amaze me how amusingly perverted some lines from popular literature can sound out (or sometimes even in) context.
Try Famous Five - sometimes, they'll start using the word "queer" and use it every sentence for about a page. "My, this is queer, isn't it?" "Very queer indeed." I had to stop reading them to my kid sister.

"She took advantage of me when I was drunk!"
Genius.
