Quite a good night out with vulgarweed . Anything I've forgotten in the haze, hopefully she can fill in later. Here's what I can recall, in a smaller nutshell (far larger nutshell on my LJ)...

Hehe :) I dunno why, but it didn't seem the least strange to have him ask me that. Really seemed utterly normal.

He brought the preliminaries of the new GO covers to the New York signing, and they look quite cartoony and adorable, though he told me that Aziraphale didn't look quite right yet and would probably be changed. Crowley is holding a glass of wine, and Aziraphale has a book.

Ooooh! Damn that would have pushed me beyond death to see! Can you describe Azi's appearance a bit more? Love to know what the Official Version looks like :D

I'm a little fuzzy to tell the truth because it was pretty late by the time I got up there, but he's sort of sitting with his knees bent and his feet flat on the ground, and he's holding the book open and just smiling in that 'gayer than a treeful of monkeys' kind of way. The thing I remember most actually is the orderliness of his hair, which I was a little surprised by, since most people see it as kind of curly.

Yeah, I imagine he probably should have more tidy hair, because of the whole "stuck in the 50's" style he has... but it's so hard not to draw him curly and cute :D Needless to say, the books will be hard to resist when they hit the shelves.

Squee! ^_^

Pronunciation! My friends always say crOW-lee (as in, *ow!* instead of *oh*) which annoys me. Am glad to be correct XD

Am rather ridiculously excited about these covers.

And the slasher comments from him are always amusing. Hee.

I'm excited about them too! Even more excited that Neil seems to be involved in how they look, rather than the publishers making a random decision (as we see all too often with cover art). So the images will be CANON. Wow. That's a heavy thought.

Neil knows his fans, that's for sure. He slashed for us in AG, so I rest my case ;)

Random publisher decisions are indeed grievous.

Exactly! ;P
