I got to here and I snorted. Ahahaha.
I liked that quite a lot.
Lovely. Also, I like how you are torn between deciding if Caramel Kisses are a moment of divine ecstacy or solely to make you fat and bitter. *THUMBS UP*

Ooo, I loved this whole section. And the whole thing, actually - the language is really beautiful. OH and the part about Aziraphale's slip-up being the kind of thing that had gotten him the job, even though it was slightly Against The Rules - that just warmed me right up. It has a contemplative, quiet feel and the loneliness that Remus and Aziraphale felt came right out through that. And, of course, the last section kindled the squee. :D
Was also very suspicious of that pair in the park. Too much plotting going on in that place...

There's that ineffability thing again. :) Aziraphale isn't a very good angel, really; he's too sympathetic and tolerant. So you could say that he was demoted to Earth as a punishment. But if God is omniscient, then he ought to know what kind of job Az is doing. So maybe Az's screwups are, well, sort of like when an explosion in a biology lab invents penicillen. After all, in PoA, Remus forgives Sirius *so quickly* - almost like he always suspected, in the back of his mind, the Sirius was innocent. :D

(Oh, and I don't suppose the lime green bowler hat came from Vile Bodies/Bright Young Things?)

Thank you! Yeah, I see what you mean about the personification thing (not that I was thinking that deeply when I wrote it). How to get to the bottom of your issues, you have to let all the stuff you don't want to think about to the surface.
Nope, Lime Green Bowler Guy is Crouch... or Fudge? I get them mixed up. The Mini of Magic.
