Mildly Slashy Sketches

I am sooo exhausted with my course work for the moment, and I have all of these half-finished Crowley/ 'Zira sketches on my desk... so I thought I'd share them with you guys! I'm working on learning how to do digital coloring, but I'm a hobby artist and getting frustrated with the results (therefore not posting the colored stuff till I get it right ( Read more... )

I'm afraid my first reaction to the first picture was, "Oh dear, Aziraphale looks too manly!". XD Though I suppose he was a bit more buff before chocolate was discovered. It's a LOVELY drawing, though, I love his Michaelangelo-esque curls and his clothes.

Crowley smokes with STYLE.

And the last picture is SO SWEET AAA OMG *squishes them*! ... *pinches Crowley's lovely demin-clad arse* >_>

I really appreciate your feedback about Aziraphale, cause I honestly felt the same way about him after I drew it! I've always envisioned him as being of stockier stock, kind of the angelic equivalent of the Volvo station wagon,(built for practicality and not aesthetics) but when I slimmed him down for Eden ('cause your definitely right about the chocolate!) he came out looking waaay more masculine than I normally see him. I'm chalking that one up to Crowley messing about in my brain for his own fan-service-y reasons...

I'm pretty proud of that tush, so glad you approve!

For a moment I actually thought it was the Archangel Michael before realising it was Aziraphale. XD Something about the jaw and facial features, maybe. Though I have to admire you for that because I suck at drawing men, my pencil prefers feminine features. XD Oh, Crowley.

It is a lovely tush, and I certainly approve! ;)

Those are incredible! I like the idea of Aziraphale as a plainer, more heavy-set angel, clean-cut and trim only because they haven't invented cheesecake yet. His Michaelangelo curls are just perfect. Snake!Crowley's little eyebrow just about made me die giggling.

In the second one, it took me a long while to figure out just what was so subtly wrong with the picture that it held my attention like that. And then I realised-- Crowley's pupils. They're not round! Such a little thing, but something in the back of my head picked up on it. Well done! And mmm, his cheekbones are to die for ( ... )

Oh-kay! It took me a few minutes for the blood to drain out of my face after reading that... thank you! Just... wow! Thank you so much!

Also, it could be anything you like... but in my mind the book is a copy of "Where the Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein.

Mostly because this reminds me of them...

LISTEN TO THE MUSTN'TS

Listen to the MUSTN'TS, child,
Listen to the DON'TS
Listen to the SHOULDN'TS
The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON'TS
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me --
Anything can happen, child
ANYTHING can be.

That's ineffability for you.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments and for mentioning the eyebrows, I was so happy that I got his camped-out guilt exactly the way I saw it in my head (though I honestly don't know if he's more worried about the sword or what all of that newly invented humidity is going to do to his perm ( ... )
