As Tino was exploring the new neighborhood, he couldn't help but notice a little while away from the entrance there looked like what could be a car? He noticed a rather tall man get out of the car and automatically assumed the car had broken down. Now, he himself wasn't a repairman, but he should at least offer some sort of assistance--right?

He made his way over to him. "Päivää~" He said, "Do you need some assistance?" He walked up to the man and realized just how tall he was compared to him. Yikes.

(ooc: Idek but it feels like my post fails. :| Please tell me if it does so, I'm just getting this strange feeling like it... fails. LOL.)

Standing in front of his car, wondering if there was some sort of magic that he had to work in order to get the hood lifted, Ivan sighed. Ivan had never really paid attention to the inner workings of a car before. He got his car tuned up regularly and his tires rotated, he got the oil changed and the fluids topped up... but those tasks were all done by professionals, while he sat in the waiting room.

The only thing he really knew about the car was where the fuel went and how to drive it. It's all he'd needed to know before.

So when he heard another voice asking if he needed assistance, he almost sighed in relief. Smiling, Ivan turned to look at the newcomer.

"Hello. I am having car trouble." He paused, looking a little sheepish, before continuing. "I cannot open car hood."

(ooc: Nope, no failure! Don't worry XD)

Tino tilted his head slightly and looked toward the car. "Open the hood, huh?" He repeated and walked up to it. "May I try?" He asked him before daring to touch the vehicle. The last thing he wanted was to get on someone's bad side.

(ooc: LOL Okay good.)

Waving in a manner that said "be my guest," Ivan stepped away from the car so he could observe the new person's actions. This way, he could learn how to do it himself next time.

Though, what he was going to do once the hood was open he didn't know. All he knew was that in all of the movies he's seen, opening the hood was the first step toward fixing the car.

Work didn't start for another two hours but Che liked to get a early start most of the time. He was an early riser when there was nothing particularly exhausting prior to the day, he went to bed at a semi-decent hour. So, awake and ready for his venture towards work, he made his way on his bike towards the nearest bus stop about half a mile from the entrance of the neighborhood ( ... )

(ooc: I'm going to figure that this happens after Tino and Meilin leave, so that Ivan is alone here)

It had been nice of his neighbors to stop for him, but it was foolish of him to keep them when they had their own lives to attend to. It wasn't as though Ivan couldn't call a towing company to drag his car to a garage to get it looked at, after all. He wasn't completely helpless.

He was giving his dead car one last long look and sigh before calling directory assistance, when he heard someone else calling out to him. It was certainly his day for looking silly in front of others.

"Car is just broken. I am calling towing company now, but thank you." His own accent was very Russian in response to the... Spanish? accent he heard from the man on his bicycle.

He stopped his bicycle next to the other, planting his feet on either side of the vehicle and sliding off the seat to prevent discomfort. The man was tall, really tall and he was pulling out his cellphone. Ah, Che hated those things, they were such a bother but it was the words that bothered him the most when they slipped from the others mouth. Looking at the man still, he listened to him and then shook his head.

"Ah--no, don't do that! I might be able t' help you, I'm a mechanic yah see 'n some 'f the places 'round here, they don't give yah a great deal 'n all so 'f yah wanna hold off, I can take a look or somethin'."

He didn't like interrupting peoples phone calls and as he spoke to the other he looked a bit flustered and this much was obvious. Che shook his head and made sure that the other could read his expression well if he could not understand him, he knew his English was not the best there was for a non-native speaker but really did try his best.

Oh, he was a mechanic? How serendipitous. Ivan closed his phone and shoved it into the pocket of his overcoat, giving the other a smile.

"You are willing to help me? That is very nice of you."

Offering his hand, Ivan stepped forward to the other resident, ready to shake. "My name is Ivan. I..." He paused, looking for the correct word, "appreciate you helping me. I am not knowing very much about cars..."
