And so it ends...

OMG!! I had such a blast on Sunday!! Since Shauna (the girl I share my tickets with) wasn’t going to use the 4th ticket…I was able to bring my mom. My mom got to experience a day in my shoes, meaning we got there early (before the gates opened). As soon as we got in…we headed down toward the field to get “prime real estate” for autograph ( Read more... )

Sounds like a blast! I can't believe the season is winding down, though. What a let down. Well, YOUR season isn't winding down, but you know... up here in NorCal baseball is fading fast. Five months until Spring Training, too! Aaaaah!! What was I saying? Oh yes. Wonderful stories! Can't wait to hear about Arlington.

It was a blast...though it was a little melancholy...the last home game (whether or not your team is heading to the postseason) signals the end of another season...and it's a long time until baseball returns.

I wanted to ask...do you plan on going to Spring Training next year?

I am most definitely planning on it, yes. One of my best friends now lives in Mesa, too, so it should be even easier now. I have quite fond memories of my last trip. Ahhh. (That was a good 'ahhh.')

Thursday will certainly be a let down. But it was a crazy ride, man! A crazy ride!

I'm just hoping certain players don't end up in the Grapefruit League. Ahem.

Is that icon a picture of Jay on Travel Day?

Cool...my friend Mayra and I are going too...we just made our reservations yesterday. I'm so excited...I love ST.

For your sake...I hope so too! Now which player could you possibly talking about? :oD

I can't wait to see that picture. I remember last year when my friend April and I were outside waiting for the players and we saw some of the guys (from the visiting team) walk out and we could see them (even though it is dark) and they were dressed as babies. I wish they would have come over and signed for the fans.

oh yeah I forgot to mention about Robert Fick (he was kind of nice to me yesterday because he signed a card for me). It seemed like he didn't really want to sign for me.

I hope your mom had a great time at the game. I bet she was happy that she got to meet Adam Kennedy.

That story was really cute.

When I started reading your first reply...I wondered who had written it, but I was able to figure it out cause you mentioned Fick. It was a great end to the regular season...I just hope we go all the way this year.

I forgot to metion that I also met Robert's brothers last year...my friend and I were out to breakfast, on our way to see the Padres. I was wearing a minor league jersey and Robert's oldest brother said something about it...we had a short conversation about Robert and Adam...it was pretty cool. They were also really nice guys.
