Hey Steven,

After reading your responses I realize that I completely misinterpreted what you were saying about abortion. I'm sorry for having jumped to conclusions.

Love ya

I think what I mean is protesting is not a matter of appeal to the senses or taboo, but it must be done out of a logical or ethical standard ( ... )

u know i stand on similar grounds with you as far as politics go, but i disagree with you saying that Christians should stop protesting abortion. as Christians, our fight should be against injustice. abortion and the plight of the poor are both injustices and i'm with anyone who fights for either. (on that particular issue of course) the problem with bi-partisan politics is that we can't stand against all injustices. the democrats kill babies and the republicans rape the third world. it's a stinkin messed up world. ideally, there would be a 3rd, political "Church" party or something that would stand for both the poor and the unborn, but i don't think that's gonna happen, so until Earth is restored by it's lover, Jesus, i'll just have to stand with whichever party i feel fights MORE injustices than the other, yet at the same time be against the injustices which that party supports ( ... )

oh okay, nevermind then. haha.

the part about "If gay marraige and abortions were cute to, maybe we'd stop protesting those" confused me, but i see what u meant to say now.

and i think your little sad face is funny. it's like "abortions and starvation make me sad!" which they should. so it's all good, fo sho.

its true.

Take Kill a mosquito and nobody cares. but kill a cat, and nobody is happy.

Why?

Because of some sort of logic, intrinsic value, love of animals? Doubtful.

because they are cute.
