You need to at least do a follow up to this because it was so good! I want a happy ending :p
I like it so far, maybe you could go into detail about what his last encounter with Jack was exactly? Like a flashback? Then for the next part (you could make it a three part thing) you should explain why Jack turned up at his door and have him catch Alex out with the self harm?
You're really good at writing - most fanfics have SO MANY typos whereas this one had like two where you worded it slightly wrong (sorry for sounding beta-ish)
