I swear, I keep turning these in later and later every month. What's with that?

This round's claim were general pairings from Final Fantasy XIII. I took this a little liberally since I'm one of the many people who don't always use OTP in a relationship sense. In this set you'll find pairings that I ship either romantically or platonicly. Icons of lovers sit next to icons of pairings that I view as being father/daughter or brother/sister, or even actual sister/sister in one case. I guess, what I was trying to show was just how awesome and connected the entire XIII cast is. I know I didn't do that very well since there's a few I didn't even touch upon, but that was my intention. Maybe I'll revisit this claim sometime and expand on things. Who knows?

Okay now that my customary start up rant is done. Onto the icons!

Edit: And since I went ahead and made that spare frame icon just in case. Here!

Iconmaker notes:
Flower: This is one of my favorite scenes to be honest. I love how Vanille gets excited at seeing those flowers since it meant they were close to being home. Admittedly they didn't show up as nicely as I'd like, but I was so set on using an image from that scene!

Mythology: Part of what's great about the fabula nova crystallis series is the rich Mythology. I'd honestly wanted to do something about "A Fal'Cie's fancy" but couldn't find any good images of Dysley. You guys are lucky to have missed out! Instead, I ended up settling for this, because it's just such a sweet concept. You see legend has it that the fireworks of Bodhum are magical wish-granting fireworks. I love how even Lightning, our ever so cool and cynical protagonist, made a wish on the fireworks that night. Well, at least I think she did anyway.

Foreign Language: Because Traditional Chinese characters look cool, the symbols reads as Yunling which means Forgiveness. I chose this because the concept of forgiveness seems like it's a pretty important one between Vanille and Serah since Vanille blames herself for what happened.

Frame: I'm still worried this one might not meet mod approval. I probably should have thought to ask in advance. This was me focusing on them as a family, because I really do ship the four of them as this great, loving, and awesome family. Otherwise it's just two ships slapped together, but I really did kind of want it to be very family portrait-ish. I'll probably re-open photoshop and work on a spare just in case it's not okay.

Category I've always wondered if there was some significance to why they even seemed to be shaking hands in the first place. Doesn't strike me as something that mot 18/19 year-olds typically do. Still I love the scene especially when Vanille goes back to being all "I'm sorry! ;A;" at Serah right afterwards and Serah still doesn't realize that she really means that to her and not some other person all together.

I think everything else is pretty self-explanatory. Cheers!
