Here's the panel that I ran this year with Aral. It was one of those TW panels that gets left off the main schedule, and always ends up in the alternate programming slot (two years running!) because, I guess, it doesn't get enough votes. And the room is always packed! Go figure.

Hey there! Sounds like a great con, loved what you wrote about the TW panel.
I too love the shirts off, and love Scott and his continued Alphaness. While I enjoy Alison and Kira, I want more Lydia, which is weird because I used to hate her. I used to love Derek (and I don't hate him now), but I do hold it against him that he hasn't joined Scott's pack although he wanted Scott to be part of his. Totally agree that Isaac is a revolving door and it's tiresome.
I'm the opposite on Uncle Peter, can't stand him. That whole scene where he's all, "Lydia, do you hear something? Do you hear it? What do you hear? What are you hearing, Lydia." I'm screaming MAYBE IF YOU SHUT UP< SHE COULD HEAR AND TELL YOU

I've been thinking about a new con to go to (since I'm still not going back to MediaWest) so, maybe next year?

Hey there!

Yes, Teen Wolf is a lot of fun, and there are enough core characters to go around. I'm a Stiles fan myself, pretty much from day one, but he just keeps getting better and better. I agree with you about Lydia - she's annoying but interesting!

And yes, Escapade! It's just the place!

Well, of course, anyone with a heart loves Stiles. I LOVE that they are really letting Dylan goes wild with this evil demon storyline- so intense.

Yeah, I definitely think I'll check Escapade out. I hear lots of good things, although the only bad things I hear are specifically about SPN panels, so that's a bummer. But I'm really trying to wean myself from obsessing about that Show, so . . . I don't know. It does sound cool and thought provoking which I like.

In any case, I don't see myself returning to MediaWest unless there's a real big change. It's like visiting your crabby old maiden aunt at this point.

PS More about Escapade. You'd be totally welcome, there are dudes there, anywhere between three and five. I know Matt, he's into vids and stuff, and he's very nice, I could introduce you to him and get you started. The panels are open, and anyone can come and add their opinion to the mix. It would definitely NOT be an issue that you're a guy. The LAX hotel for 2013 was good in a lot of ways (very close to the airport, GREAT hotel staff), but it's not exotic by any means. You could also create a panel, and lead that, and that'd be a great way to meet folks. Did MW get kind of stuffy or what/
