[Fic]Oh My Juliet!: Chapter 2
“Jin!! Where did you get that?!”
Yamashita was yelled at Akanishi, who seems to doesn’t even noticed any single things happened around him. Well, it is Akanishi Jin after all. When he was sitting at the cafe, eating a huge roasted beef sponsored by his sensei, Nakamaru, in front of him, no wonder it was heaven for him!
Pouted, Yamashita took his seat beside Akanishi. The beef looked damn delicious. Yamashita gulped. This guy, he was a hunter for delicious food, forever and after. Realizing someone was sitting beside him, he lifted his face, along with his mouth full.
“Moomo..guhh..pi..wa…mm…oaw..tis..shome?”
‘I don’t believe that this is the guy who got almost hundred percent marks in every of his test paper at all!’
“Don’t talk with your mouth full, bakanishi!”
‘And how can I’m the only one who can see how stupid he is!’
Akanishi swallowed everything in his mouth in one go. Delicious!
“Sorry for that. Did you want some, Pi? Sensei treats me for giving opinion on the school play yesterday. This is delicious!”
‘Did I heard it wrong or did Jin just offer me to eat his food?’
Now, Yamashita was looking at Akanishi with serious face. He gripped Akanishi’s shoulder, leaving the other completely confused.
“Jin!”
“What?”
“Are you okay? You’ve just done something you’ll never do for your whole life I know!”
“Hah? What? I just offered you this beef, it was delicious anyway”
“That’s the thing!”
“Hahh?”
“Okay, now tell me your name?”
“Akanishi Jin”
“Which school are you?”
“Kurogin all boys private school”
“What subject did you hate the most?”
“Everything”
“Who discover that formula for nuclear reaction?”
“It’s Albert Einstein”
“What are isomers?”
“Elements with the same number of proton but differ in nucleon number”
“Sin 30 equals to?”
“It’s half”
Yamashita doesn’t seem satisfied yet. There is something wrong with this guy. He would never share his food! Akanishi just looked blankly at the wall in front of him, doesn’t bother to not answer every stupid questions his friend asked. This wasn’t the first time, he knows it.
“Okay, what is your father’s position?”
“The owner of robotic company in Japan which based on nanotechnology and modernization of innovations by the newest technology with the cooperation’s of United States”
“What do you love the most?”
“Its food, now and forever you baka! What’s with those questions? I’m completely fine, Yamapi!”
Finally, he was completely annoyed. But Yamashita doesn’t seem to see that.
“Don’t you realize that you just offering me your food? No way in hell you would do that! Something is wrong with you! Did you check your temperature this morning?”
Feeling a little angry, Akanishi smacked Yamashita’s head.
“Ouch, what was that for?”
“Your stupidity! Just tell me if you don’t want it!”
Akanishi was about to pull back the plate from Yamashita when his friend grabbed it.
“No! I want it!”
“Then, eat! Without any question!”
It was delicious for real!
“Owh, by the way, when did the practice for the school play start? I believe I have a part in it too even if I never registered it”
“Sensei said he would call us whenever he wants to...That’s crazy”
Yamshita laughed. It was crazy indeed.
“Well, about the play, you’re playing Romeo of course. But from what I heard, am I mistaken that Kamenashi was agreeing for being Juliet?”
Akanishi couldn’t hide his smirked, remembering the conversation.
“Yes, you didn’t mistaken Yamapi. And for your extra information, I am the one that makes him agree to it”
Yamashita looked at him in shocked. Did his friend just being sneaky or is he too good to be resist?
“You did?”
“Yeah, and it was a fun after all”
Akanishi grins slightly, still can be seen though.
Okay, he was really being sneaky without any doubts.
“Jin, you’re bad...”
Akanishi laughed cheerfully.
‘The Romeo’s Juliet, it has to be him’
“Can’t help being one...”

Kamenashi and Tanaka were making their way towards the main theatre hall, which his sensei suddenly announces on calling them there. They were eating that time for heaven’s sake! When did that teacher become so busy until he didn’t have any other time to gather them? Any other suitable time! Still, being a good student, they follow the orders.
“So, Kame. What now?”
“You know Koki, if I’m about to die of this play for being Juliet, please say to my mom that I love her”
Tanaka almost hangs his jaws before let out a small chuckle. Is Kamenashi for real?
“You can’t die that easily you know. Or this school would be closed forever from that”
Tanaka laughed. Kamenashi didn’t seem that he was affected at all, his face was pure worried.
“Koki, I want you to make sure that there is no even one people brought a camera or whatever things that can take my picture in dress that day!”
“Can’t help that, buddy”
Kamenashi sighed. He didn’t believe that he was actually doing this. If this wasn’t for the chance of winning against Akanishi, no way in hell would he ever do it! But, to be thinked of, it was a very good chance since Kamenashi can always act better.
“Anou, Kame. Did you hate that Akanishi so much?”
“Hmm, hate? I never hate him, but his annoyance and big head did piss me off. He is the best rivals I ever meet and I want to win over him for sure! This time, I can’t lose!”
“Yeah, you even accept the worst thing you could ever done right”
Kamenashi laughed.
“I don’t know if I can ever win if I don’t try. And I’m trying for every single chance”
Tanaka just nodded, not really understand what the guy was saying but it seems like something great.

“Everyone, please gather here!”
Nakamaru was calling the whole students selected for the play that seem to not even realize that he was there. Well, just blame the big theatre stage for it. Their school has the greatest stage you’ll ever seen, as could be seen by how wealthy the school itself was.
Kamenashi just entered the place when he catches a figure of Akanishi looking at him, smiling nicely. He smirked, before shooting a death glare at that guy. Tanaka followed him behind. Looking at the stage, Kamenashi grinned excitedly.
‘This whole stage would see me beat you, Akanishi! I’ll make sure you would be regret for looking down on me. I’ll do my best! Even if you’re the Romeo and I would felt damn annoyed at you, I won’t give up!’
Kamenashi set up his mind, fully determine. Kamenashi make his way towards the crowd around Nakamaru. Most of the guys there were well-known, have a good looks and famous. He could see Ueda and Nishikido were waving their hands to him. And there are some guys he didn’t recognize, maybe from the seniors. Nakamaru sure knows how to hit the right people even if it was a bit selfish for him deciding on without asking first. He even didn’t consider the right time on calling them!
Kamenashi stood behind Yamashita. As he was about to pay some attention to the teacher, suddenly a breathe come close to his ear, sending a cold shiver all over his body.
“I’m glad you’re coming..”
Kamenashi turned around his head; his eyes widened looking at how sweet Akanishi was smiling at him.
‘What’s wrong with this guy?’
“An official competition with you, how come I’m not coming? I’ll make sure I’m winning this time! Remember that..”
Kamenashi spoke slowly, but the energetically high-spirit tone can still be heard in his voice by Akanishi. Akanishi let out a small chuckle before smiled softly at Kamenashi.
“I’m still glad you’re coming though”
Doesn’t care of Kamenashi’s weird face, Akanishi looked deep into Kamenashi’s eyes. As those eyes meet his, Kamenashi stunned.
“What?”
‘Ehh?’
Just so suddenly, Kamenashi was amazed by how lovely those eyes were looking at him. As if the guy was looking at something so precious to him. Kamenashi doesn’t know why but at that time, he was like casted. He can’t take his eyes off even though he tries it. Akanishi too doesn’t look like he wants to stop staring. Staring through that, Kamenashi felt his heart was somehow hurt; it was as if being in pain.
‘Why did I felt like I have already lost? I don’t even try yet, I hate to lose. I don’t want to lose! Not this time!’
“Kamenashi?”
Nakamaru’s voice suddenly called him, asking for attendance did shock him. As Kamenashi was successfully brought to life, he drives his gaze away from Akanishi, who still looking at him. Kamenashi was embarrassed. Lucky he managed to answer before everyone pay their attention in finding him.
“Here!”
So he was the last one called. Did everyone have been called? He didn’t even hear of it.
‘It’s all that Akanishi’s fault. What he thinks he was doing?! And what the hell am I doing?! ’
Nakamaru seems satisfied with everyone was there. He kept talking about their role and some explanations about this Shakespeare life, dramas performance expectations, cooperation between them, and everything related to the play. He gave everyone their own scripts according to the role. It was really a thick one. Kamenashi’s was entitled Juliet, his role of course. He opened the first page, reading in silence.
‘Neo Verona was a country that always in peace and harmony, leaded by Capulets. But when Larteas Montague complot on destroying the Capulet’s clan and take over the country succeed, the governance has somehow turn to be cruel. Juliet who was the only Capulet’s legacy left and some other saved people live with their hidden identity. When Juliet has become 16 years old, she was told about her true identity, the heir of Capulets. Juliet knows that she must be responsible in leading the Capulets to gain back their real status. Romeo in the other hand was Larteas’s hope to be the next heir but considering the cruel ways of treating people, Romeo doesn’t want to. He has a fiancée named Hermione. He first meets Juliet in a ball, where at that time they both fall in love at the first sight. The cross-stars love story they had would be facing a great challenge, and they knew it but still they want to survive their love’
Kamenashi raised his eyebrow, reading the introduction. He tried to imagine how the hell he and Akanishi would act like a lover when they’re rivals. Even though Kamenashi didn’t think that it was a problem competing with that, it must be somehow stiff with their scenes. And looking at how thick his script was, there were gonna be a lots of scenes.
“Then, let’s the play begin tomorrow after school. I really need your cooperation for this play and the truth, I am very happy that all of you come today. Your task is read your scripts on your own and memorizes the lines. That’s all for today, thank you for coming, and sorry to disturb your meal. I have a date this evening and I can’t cancel it. So much sorry, students”
Nakamaru bowed at his students, before walking out the place. Kamenashi almost left himself shocked for a moment. He has a very selfish teacher after all!
Kamenashi turned around, wanting to take his leave. He walked up the stair to go up. He was trying to walk passed Akanishi when he somehow suddenly tripped over his own feet.
‘Oh my God! Not now! Please don’t fall!’
Pity for him that his pray doesn’t come true. Without any hesitations, his body made it way to the floor; it was an Italian expensive carpet after all so it won’t be hurt at all even though to be think of it, he would at least rolled over for three times to the base of the stairs. It was seconds before he hit the floor and he did stopped.
“Ehh?”
Someone was grabbing his wrist, preventing him from comfortly landing over his back on the stairs, not mentioning how he would be rolling down the stairs. Kamenashi instantly straightened his body, gaining his balance. He wanted to turn around and thanking the whoever that has helping him but with his wrist was held so strong, he need to get out of it first.
“Anou, thank you for helping me. Can you please release me now?”
As he asks, the strong arm releases his wrist. Kamenashi turned around, only to see a sarcastic smirk from the arm’s owner, Akanishi Jin.
“Be careful next time, loser. Or you’ll be in the hospital for nothing. I am looking forward to see what you can do with being a girl, a graceful one, and not mentioning that she is my lover. Good luck on that, Kamenashi! And don’t tripped over yourself again, it’s embarrassing as a guy you know…”
Akanishi laughed at Kamenashi’s priceless red face. He was indeed cute on being shy and it would be a waste on not mocking him for that. Feeling as if he was being challenged, Kamenashi grabbed Akanishi’s collar, pulling him closer. It seems like Akanishi was stunned for that sudden move. As their face was almost an inch closer, Kamenashi smirked before spoke.
“Thank you for your support, Akanishi. I’m appreciating your help earlier and I would be extra careful next time, moreover when it’s around you since it has become so dangerous. Don’t worry, I’m playing fair in every competition. This one, I will win it and make everyone knows I’m the greatest actor!”
With their faces were so close, Kamenashi suddenly realizes, Akanishi’s eyes were looking at him like earlier. The soft looks and it was pissing him off. Not wanting to be carry out again, Kamenashi took his distance between them, releasing the grip before walked passed Akanishi elegantly.
He was feeling angry, annoyed and..hurt too. Why is it hurt involved? He doesn’t want to know. He has to win this competition. He would beat Akanishi in this one but once again he felt as if he was already lost. It wasn’t even started yet. He slightly touched his chest, somehow it felt something uneasy.
‘This feeling.. I hope it wasn’t hate’
Facing Akanishi Jin, a guy with great talents, great face and non-understandable attitude, Kamenashi sure pays the worst he had. He doesn’t want to hate that guy, because hating him would be his failure against himself, at least that was what he was thinking. Akanishi is his rivals! But it was Kamenashi Kazuya after all. Whatever happens, he would do his best!!

P/S: This chapter, I’m failed! This one is somehow mess, I think.. I got some problems now and it was really disturbing me. So, thousands of apologize for this.. I’ll make sure, next time I’ll be better!!! Yeah!!
