*Sam gets busy getting the steak ready. She is very excited to show Grace her father's way of making steak and hopefully she will be impressed. She makes sure to set the steaks out in order to get them room temperature to get them ready to put on the grill*

[Grace grins and bounds up to throw her arms around Cole.] Heeeey! Welcome back, kiddo! Long time, no see! [And then, still keeping one arm fastened around Cole she reaches the other down so she can ruffle Nicholas' hair.] So this is your mini-stalker then? He's a real cutie.

*chuckles at Grace's forwardness, keeping her smile* He is kind of shy. We are harmless though Nicholas. We have known Cole for awhile. Grace has known him longer them me though.

[Nicholas ducks away from Grace's hair-ruffling, frowning, and walks to look at the vegetable tray.]

[Cole meanwhile just stands there and lets Grace hang on him.] He's just sort of shy.

That is ok. *sees Nicholas go the the vegetable tray and smiles at him before turning to Cole.* It looks like he likes vegetables too. That is good. Not a lot of kids eat their veggies nowadays.

He's like me... [He watches Nicholas munch on a cucumber slice. Then he looks at the steaks on the grill, looking a bit appologetic.] Some things aren't so good for us...

That's ok Cole. There are plenty of vegetables and even fruits for you and Nicholas to have. We might even have other vegetarians to the cook out too. Not sure who is going to show up really.
