electricity + gas + water = hot water, can run stove.
electricity + gas = no water, can run stove.
elecricity + water = no hot water, can't run stove.
gas + water = no hot water, can't run stove, can't run electrical appliances.
hot water only happens when all three are present.
like a three-legged stool.
right now i don't have gas.

yeah. a few weeks ago the power went out unexpectedly and i couldn't even do that!
