The whole opening paragraph is just beautiful. Your use of metaphor is wonderful and I adore it!

I was right about the aunt! Though, really, it was fairly easy to realize you were probably heading that way. Still makes me happy! And it's always the handmaid! lol

It's nice to see that they've worked things out, for now. It's obvious that they're far from being back in paradise though, and I still want Eloise to have a little heart to heart with Morgause.

The thought of them going back to Camelot has me worried! Sure, Uther will be thrilled at first, but it's just not possible to hide a love like theirs! Damnit Uther, you always have to ruin everything.

Thank you! I love using metaphors and that one kind of just happened.

Yes, you were right about the aunt. It was pretty obvious but I thought it was pretty obvious that Morgana was pregnant from little bits I'd seeded in the last 5 or so chapters but no one guessed!

Going back to Camelot definitely won't be easy. They have a big struggle ahead of them.

Glad to see Morgause come back and try to listen. They both needed a time out. Her aunt's advice was not surprising. It will be interesting to see these two back at Camelot. Will the child know and trust Morgause more or Uther?

Yep, going back to Camelot will be the real test.

Ah, I've said once how much I love your dialogue, but I'll say it again. I can't even bring myself to pointing out favourite parts, every line is wonderful.

Happy to see the girls back again after the tumultuous events of the last chapter (and now anxious to see what other conflicts will arise, hm...). And yay for aunt Eloise and her wisdom!

Thank you! I'm so glad that you enjoy the dialogue. It probably isn't really noticeable but I have rules for how each character can speak, depending on their perspective and their upbringing. The starkest difference it probably between Morgana, who has a very honeyed tongue, and Gwen, who manages to say the exact same thing but much more simply and using contracted words.

There will be more conflicts, I can promise you that. So watch out! Don't get too happy for them. Things will strike when you least expect them.

Oh, thank goodness they have talked things out. Morgause frakking shredded my heart last chapter! But their speeches to each other *swoon* So many wonderful, glorious FEELINGS!

And I already know there's no way Morgause isn't going to completely love their baby and become the dreamiest Daddy ever.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I wouldn't get too complacent, there are lots of obstacles, twists and turns to come.
