In theory, but in practice there can be a lot of paperwork and schedualling issues. I've heard of it taking as long as that, unfortunatly. And yes, they can have expert witness testimony but I'm pretty sure that thats it, no other witnesses. Maybe character witnesses sometimes.

Yay, I'm so glad you've updated with more. This is so magnificent, so glad Nikki and Morgana are finally getting a bit of sexy time again. I'm glad Harry and Leo see that Morgana didn't do it, and that they want to help Nikki by helping Morgana.

I have to say as fantastic and as much as I love Morgana/Nikki, I love the Morgana/Arthur sibling bond. I always thought that in the series they should have been a bit closer than they were shown to be. They were raised together for years, saw so much of each others lives and yet sometimes they were portrayed like strangers.

I can't wait for more, and for Morgana and Nikki to ride off into the sunset. It might be wishful thinking but I'd love it if it was Merlin who was our villian in this, he's always shown as a goody good when he's clearly not, it would be a nice change.

To be honest, there isn't that much personal stuff in Silent Witness until more recently so there isn't that much to know other than Leo is a bit like a father figure but two young and that Harry and Nikki have a close relationship that seems to shift from being brother-sisterly to nearly romantic and then becak again pretty often.

I completely understand the Arthur/Gwen thing, they are my least favourite ship too. And their fans can be so rabid!
