Dead Beat Dad Update

May 18, 2010 11:21

I honestly have no idea if anyone here on LJ is reading/enjoying my webcomic, but I still have to do it for class, so it'll still be updated at least one more time ( Read more... )

Wow! I love this format, and it showcases your art up close and personal which is awesome... your inking is super pretty and I really like how caught all the emotions well (and text bubble creativeness haha) I feel like this format also adds a lot of excitement to the pacing .. it'd be really neat if you could continue using it for the webcomic but I'm not sure if that's in your plans or if it's way more of a hassle to, but personally I really like it! Keep gooooooing please ♥

I always look forward to your updates here on your webcomic/drawings/overall C: so it's awesome to wake up and be like, "OH! Cara art! Sweet!!" Which was my reaction this morning instead of going to the salon, pft.
I have never heard of Infinite Canvas, but it looks like a really great thing! I think the fifth release of DBD feels very much like a the dream sequence Franklin is having because of the layout. I think it also lends to the suspense. On top of that, watercolor love! I have and always will adore your use of watercolors so it's only natural that I've fallen in love with this release. I was really gripped by the last page and the over all use of color that lead right into it. This is more than just decent; it's great! Don't lose confidence and keep going~! ♥♥♥♥♥ I want the next release like wao

P.S.
Goh's birthday. I hope you don't object to fan-artingcos celebrating. (Can't wait to see him in the comic)

i'm just one of those that rarely comments these days but that looks at everything. i think you should post if you want to, not to get comments....people are always looking/reading, especially on the internet.

also, reversely, commenting on your posts was also like talking to a brick wall in the past so maybe i just thought anything i said was useless also.

i like the inifinite canvas format....i read another comic using this motion graphics thing and i really thought it was a nice interpretation of comics if it moved. i personally like it as watercolour cuz it gives it a more organic feel mixed with the tech of the infinite canvas thing. i like the composition of the last page too.

I haven't been checking out webcomics on time lately but I still think your comic is good! That format is really amazing, too!
