Got off ridiculously early from work again, thanks to some kind of mix-up at the post office that left us with only one bin of mail to do. We finished in about an hour flat and I listened to Obama's inagural address on the radio on the ride home. And definitely teared up a few times.

Got off work early today cause there were like two bins of mail. I wasn't even there for two hours. Oh well, at least I have a weekend now, more or less. Can't wait to sleep in tomorrow.

Here's some stuff disgruntled people like to mail to the New York Times in response to subscription solicitations:

- "FUCK YOU LIBERAL RAG!!1" notes and variations thereof
- Coupons
- Brochures
- Religious tracts
- Porn (no, really)
- McCain/Palin bumper stickers (well, I guess they have to do something with them)

So the woman who I've been assisting as part of my internship called me a bad assistant in an e-mail to some contact of hers. I saw the e-mail because I had to go into her account today to look for a manuscript (she gave me her account password early on) and it was open when I opened MS Office.
