the weather is getting hot! summer is coming! one thing i love about my work, getting to wear my bikini and going to play in water fountains during this hot, sunny weather. sunblock is making my skin break out though, that's kind of lame.. but not as lame as cancer! biking all through the winter has kept me a pretty fit bird, but one area that's ( Read more... )

I'm like that with fruit. It's all about baked goods and chocolate in the winter, but today I was at Limbo and was all over the fruit, and I have a new obsession with all-fruit smoothies.

one area that's lacking is my tummy. biking doesn't seem to target that area.

oh my god you are so right about that!

i start craving fruit, veg, and especially tomatoes around the same time as when i start buying/scavenging garden stuff. i still tend to crave junk as well though. i am really looking forward to sauvie island berry picking this summer!

and i love that huge, huge fountain near the hawthorne bridge! i might take The Kid down there next monday or tuesday! i won't be wearing a bikini though ;)

hey, so i'm looking for a new job and i think nannying would be a fun gig. any recommendations for places to check out other than craigslist? how did you land your awesome gig? thanks!

ps i'm wicked psyched for summer too. i bought my first strawberries of the season from the peoples farmers market today! mmmmmm!

craigslist is how i've found a couple jobs, now i can't seem to find enough time to work for all the people who ask about me because so-and-so gave them my number.. i'd say go with craigslist and see what happens... i could give you more tips via email if you get more questions during this potential job search.
