john and i bought our tickets for our trip to new york last friday. we're leaving the morning of the 9th of september and returning the evening of the 16th of september. i am really excited. this will be the second trip john and i have gone on together (the first being to vancouver, b.c.), about twice as long as the last one and we'll be flying, ( Read more... )

have fun! i just went there for the first time as well. there's so much stuff to do it was hard to fit things into three days (and i didn't). invest in a subway pass for sure - cars are impossible.

um...well, we went to times square, soho, east village, chinatown, williamsburg, empire state building, central park - and they were all worth it for their own reasons. i would've checked out a lot more if i'd had the time.

twice, technically... but the first time was only for an afternoon. ^^;

Um... Chinatown is fun. I didn't go to many tourist-type places, really, so I can't really name a building/place that's a must-see. ^^;; I would definately go to a museum if I were you tho. Walking around in Central Park is fun, and seeing all the art vendors on the streets are fun too. ^^

i am heading to NYC in about a month, and my friend rosemary is promising lots of AWESOME and FREE stuff. lemme know if you need tips!

p.s. such as, if you have any friends who go to school there, they can get like four people at a time in to museums for free!

go to times square man! explore central park after midnight like I did, but I was alone at the time. it was spooky. go to p diddy's club its off the hook
