School is... I feel like it's so easy to forget how to feed this monster. It's like standardized testing. There's some sort of trick to it, and if you don't learn it, it's fire and brimstone. Unfair, but common. I'm feelin' it. KEEP TRUCKING

The interesting thing about my school predicament is that academic standards seem to vary so widely that I seem to be doing quite well here even though I'm beating myself up over not wringing out more from every class.

I would really love to come to visit you next summer when we go to the States (and by 'come to visit' I mean 'meet up with you somewhere cool, like Montreal or Toronto'). But I'm pretty sure that it would be almost impossible for C to get a visa to the States. Boo.

In the meantime, I make him watch your videos and I talk about you constantly and I spend a lot of time pouting about our appalling lack of visitation.

I love both of your deer pics! The other night we were coming home from somewhere, and there were two huge deer, a male and female, hanging out in the middle of the road. I should be used to it by now, but it always scares me to see them in the middle of central Boulder, creepin' around at night.
