How long is the mandatory service? Was that party in some kind of booze dungeon? ARE HIS BRAIDS A JEDI TAIL??

1. It's random lottery. Maybe 6 months, maybe a year and a half. On Friday he'll find out where he's going and for how long. On Sunday he has to be at the camp or else he's a deserter and gets sent to prison.

2. Kinda. It's a bar called Karga (it means "crow") behind my apartment. By "behind" I mean that I'm using their wireless from my bed right this second. Anyway. Karga's fucking awesome. There are some great bars here. Come. See. Booze with me, baby.

3. I think so. He swears it's not, but I can't see no damned difference. :(
