Ahh, kindred spirit. I'm not a child fan, either. Just seems like an awful lot of work with no payoff (and too much interaction with bodily fluids, I only wipe my own ass thankyouverymuch).

indeed! The prospect of wiping someones nose/butt/whatever you have it is not a good one. So kids can be long and far away.

I heartily agree especially since I have retail experience. The kids are being kids! The parents need to do something about it!

Haha! Trust me, you become the person you never thought you would be when you're a parent. Both good and bad. Plus, you never become the parent you thought you would be!

One time when my daughter was 2, she ran away from us in a department store and locked herself in an office..... SHE WAS 2!! You think you're going to be able to make your kids behave, but it in the end, you're always screwed! And then people think you're being a bad parent. :(

At least I always do clean up or make her clean up if she makes a mess anywhere!

And therein would be my problem. It's not the ones who can't "make" their kid behave. It's the ones who don't even try.

I'm sure your a great parent, you at least try to make her assume responsibility. She'll turn out great for that.
