There are certain stories that I can vividly imagine, and then there are others where I anime-fy the characters for some ungodly reason. Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga is a perfect example of me anime-fying the characters, it was just too easy. I finally finished another book, this time Venus in Copper, which is the third from Lindsey Davis's Marcus Didius Falco series. As usual, she didn't disappoint, and I remain sighing on my bed in contentment after a mystery well solved and a romance continually simmering. So. Been home since Tuesday, and as always, the fact that I can devour a book when truly interested still amazes me. I set off to read (and finish) Shadows in Bronze by Lindsey Davis, knowing I wanted to do so for 1-2 hours.
