See, I had no idea where this was going until Venus met Nephrite in the corridor, but then I thought: hey, how about marrying people rather than making them miserable and I think it worked out quite well. I'm glad you enjoyed this, thank you for the lovely comment!

I love your more comedic Muse, LL dearest. The little twist with Venus appearing in the beginnig, the "Nephrite between her legs " bit (I barely managed NOT to spray my keyboard with chamomile tea at that) and the little touches of both friendship and - in hindsight - of reasons for ressentment and rift between these ten people...

I think people caught on a lot quicker to where this was leading than I did while writing it. Thank you for the lovely comment about my comedic muse, she doesn't appear all too often and when I had two instances of blackmail and the cornerstone of revolution in Venus's thinking, I thought I was actually delving into the everything-is-serious-AND-PEOPLE-WILL-DIE mode again, but then it did work out in a fluffy way. Phew! Thank God for Nephrite and the sexing.

HA HA HA. He lets her go...every time! Yeah, he's not really trying, and probably secretly hoping she'll jump on him one night.
Her misgivings were confirmed one night when she saw the brunette leaning against the Moon palace's windows with satisfaction in her eyes, heat in her soul and Nephrite between her legs.
THIS. This right here is the best line, by far. The setup was just PERFECT.

Sometime in the middle, I was close to banging my head against a wall because there were two instances of blackmail and some serious political upheaving in the making and I was just like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! No, you didn't, but I'm glad you liked it. Venus is smart and she doesn't take shit from anyone, so if you want to mess with her, you better come armed with a hell of a thick skin.

That's because I was trying to write you HAPPY!fic. In this fic (and only in this fic) he's perfectly happy with the relationship because he thinks that Endymion's and Serenity's love is strong enough to make up for everything they have going against them. He knew about it from the start, helped to arrange the wedding and now he gloats a little because they mananged to do all of it under the radar.
Yeah she's gonna fuck him. Of this, I have no doubts. With those boots on.
Even more important than the smushing is the loving. She's already head over heels with him, but can't admit it to herself.
