I LOVE ME FOR GIVING YOU THE PROMPT TO WRITE THIS! ^_~ I love you for giving me this prompt too! It got me in the right spirit for the game tonight. The game I'm half watching because I'm too excited and can only glance up at the TV every other second because the tension would otherwise just eat me up AND FUCK THAT WAS ALMOST A GOAL! Sorry. That was the second I was glancing up at the TV. Well, now I know that I can watch, scream and type at the same time.

This is so cute, Spock! Oh Spock is such a loveable dog, and even though Hiromasa would relegate his wife to the floor over him, Hiromasa just becomes more endearing. His logic is flawless, although I have a feeling Mako wouldn't be as understanding as Hiromasa thinks, although she'd probably do it anyway...
I love Hiromasa being either completely oblivious to Mamoru's exhaustion, or more likely, just doesn't care because this game is big, I mean really big! ^_^
Poor Mamoru! And Umino too! It's so cute that they couldn't escape watching the game because they can't be as stern as Takeshi! Personally, I think he's missing out (although he won't be severely sleep deprived the next day, and he won't have to cope with Hiromasa's potential over-excitedness).
I wonder which teams they support?!
Wonderful, this is sweet, funny and totally guy-ish. Plus anything with Spock, especially Spock aiming for the couch and hitting Mamoru's lap, is pure and utter love from me.

His logic is flawless, although I have a feeling Mako wouldn't be as understanding as Hiromasa thinks, although she'd probably do it anyway... Makoto would seriously contemplate shooting him the bird, and then sit down on the floor leaning against the couch, so that his legs frame her.
I love Hiromasa being either completely oblivious to Mamoru's exhaustion, or more likely, just doesn't care because this game is big, I mean really big! Both, and he also thinks that Mamoru needs some company because being faced with many gruesome things in the hospital requires some friendly friends to hang out with. Mamoru just wishes that it doesn't have to be this night, but Hiro won't listen.
It's so cute that they couldn't escape watching the game because they can't be as stern as Takeshi! Umino is actually quite happy to come, he likes spending time with his friends, and Ami was busy anyway. But yeah, if you're not Takeshi, and it's not a serious thing then your "no" will always sound like a "yes" to Hiro.

Mamoru supports team Sleep, Spock supports team Doggie Biscuit, Hiromasa supports Spain because he likes the way they play, and Ando (were he there) would support Portugal because Hiromasa doesn't. Umino cheers for both.

He would pretend that it's because someone needs to support the underdog, but of course, everyone would know that it's just to rile Hiro up. And of course, Ando would come decked in green and red, a Portuguese flag serving as a cape.
Oh Mamoru do you see what you signed up for when you got yourself some guardians. You will never be safe from Hiromasa or his adorable dog or noisy games.
I love how it is automatically assumed that Spock is even allowed on the furniture at Mamoru's place. I love how Takeshi is able to avoid such a painful experience, purely because he is Takeshi, and how Hiro actually has Mamoru demonstrate why he is not intimidating enough to earn the same.
Also, basset hounds are freaking FAT AND HEAVY, so having one in your lap is clearly one of the most painful experiences ever. Has Spock tripped over his own ears yet?
Also they are drool machines. My friend's basset would shake her head and send drool flying in all corners of the room--on the walls, on people, on furniture, everything. They're such cute but disgusting creatures. I'm sure Mamoru's apartment suffered heartily for his presence. <3
No, Hiromasa is not somebody you can hide from. If he thinks he knows what's best for a friend, he will make it happen, whether said friend likes it or not. And the dog goes where he goes, and since he doesn't mind the drool or the hairs all over clothes and furniture, he would never assume that anyone other than Takeshi would not be okay with Spock farting into the couch cushions.
And no, I don't think he has tripped over his own ears yet because then I would be dead from the cute, and couldn't write anymore. I love dogs, and everything with spots and big ears makes my brain melt. My family used to have bassets before I was born, they sort of switched to dobermans later. But I heart bassets. I try not to think of the drool. *laughs*
