Oh god, Beryl.... and here I'd been waiting for Jadeite and you present Beryl!!

This is a universe where the wish wasn't revoked, isn't it? That's why Mamoru doesn't remember things or people.

Beryl sort of snuck up on me (scary concept, I know), but there will be some Jadeite at some point in the story. *checks notes*
Yep, there will. ;)

Which wish? Help please!

The (it may just be anime and PGSM, I'd have to look to see if it's in the Manga or not and my brain is in lazy mode at the moment) wish of Usagi's that they all live normal happy lives and forget being Senshi and everything else.

And randomly, I just noticed that this entry has a pallandromic number!! *squees!*

I'm fairly certain that it's just the anime and PGSM where that happens.

Lytton, I swear to god, you're writing my story, AND YOU'RE DOING IT BETTER!

Everything about this chapter is wonderful. My biggest complaint in fandom has been that female writers are often bad at writing male characters, but you are blowing that perception right out of the water.

The growing dynamic between Mamoru and Katsuro, it's effect on Noboru, and his own inability to avoid putting his foot in his mouth are so in character. I'm just blown away.

Great work!

El, your compliments are ever so flattering!
But if you say that I'm writing your story, then I can't wait for Beryl to make an appearance in Blind. She can battle if off with Janny, and right now, I'm not even sure who could come out on top. Both are very fierce, aren't they?

Thank you so much! We talked about TV-inspiration this morning, and having that sort of material to fall back on makes it easier. Also, the fact that most of the female characters are dead and therefore not able to steal the show might be a contributing factor. *laughs*

AHHHH, you have me hooked!! this is better than any mystery I have read. And I agree with elvis love the growing dynamic between Mamoru and Katsuro. Favorite line,

"Swallowing down the lump in his throat, he inclined his head and welcomed doom.

"Hello Beryl."

I can't wait to see what you have stored!!!

Thank you so much! There will be more of that in the next chapters, especially now that Katsurou has made himself a contributing factor in the investigation.

And your favourite line happens to be mine as well! :)

Lytton you're killing me here with the need to know what's going on. I was not expecting Beryl, maybe Jadeite but not Beryl. I seriously need to know why Mamoru doesn't remember :/ and I need to know who the killer was!! I'm loving the growning friendship between Mamoru and Katsuro, though I'm feeling somewhat sorry for poor Noboru. I need more ^__^

I'm a bit sorry for Noboru, too; he's such a sweetheart.
As for Mamoru not remembering: more of that to come, but not quite yet. I'll have to ask for a bit of patience, but I'll try to keep you entertained in the meantime.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, it made me very happy.

Oh don't worry I have plenty of patience ^__^ .... or maybe semi-patience cause I can't help needing to know these things ^_~ but you never have to worry about trying to keep me entertained. Your stories always entertain me ^___^

Hmmm...my theories seem to be coming to fruition. Your distraction tactic of the last chapter only served to fuel the fire!

Say it ain't so, Lytton! Noes! Not Beryl!

Also, does this mean we won't see more of this until after the 25th? You can't be bribed? *bats eyelashes*

I <3 this and your advent idea!

Answering your comments is like strolling around a mine field on a sunny day. :) Pleasant, but dangerous.

As to whether there will be more before the 25th, we will see. There might be another chapter hidden somewhere in the advent drabblender, but no promises. You'll just have to allow me to surprise you.
