Evacuating

Sep 22, 2005 11:07

I did my best to "Hurricane-proof" my apartment. I've packed. I will be going to the airport in the next 20 minutes.

I don't have anything, but I'm afraid that I may lose everything. I just hope that my kiddies and their families....and everyone here is safe.

On a bright note, I will be seeing my family. :o)

Take Care.

I'm glad you're going back to NJ. That's the safest place you could be. Hopefully it won't be too much of a financial strain. These hurricanes are a BIG concern for me. I never really paid attention to them before, honestly, because they never seemed to cause THAT much damage. Or maybe they did and I just wasn't seeing it because I tuned it out. But goodness these massive evacuations are scary. Do we need to make The Day After Tomorrow a requirement?? Why are we not paying attention to the Earth??? This bitch is about to erupt and spit us out. And all 6 billion of us can't "evacuate" to the fuckin moon. Anyhoo, I'm glad you're gonna be safe. And I hope minimal damage happens. Do you know what's going on with the folks in the Astrodome? What plans do they have for poor folks who can't drive or fly out this time?

I'm full of questions, huh?
