We had a lovely weekend - except it was WAY too short.

On Saturday, we went to a Rondevous. At a local state part, they have a Mountain Man rendevous every year. People dress like pioneers and live in tents, etc. to similate how the settlers lived. It is such a beautiful animal! Tomorrow we are going to St. Louis for a "wolf howl". One of our favorite authors is doing a reading at the Wild Canid Research Center. Afterwards, everyone goes out and howls at the wolves in the reserve to see if they will howl back. it's really neat. We went last year, but it was raining, so the wolves stayed inside and didn't do much. This year it's going to be perfect weather, so hopefully we'll get more response.

I hope Gabe is doing okay!
