It's not a meme unless it's ganked, yeah? Ganked from Tomo!

If you have any questions about any of my characters, feel free to ask here~This includes basic canon info but is more geared towards like . . . motivations, specific camp behavior, past events, anything else you can think of, really. This is more to fulfill any curiosities rather than a ( Read more... )

Since I can never understand character motivations and reactions (<- see this? MOST UNEMPATHETIC PERSON IN THE WORLD.), for curiosity's sake, could you tell me what the difference is between: Kubota-at-camp-with-Tokitoh and Kubota-at-camp-without-Tokitoh. You touched upon it in your other post (something along the lines of "without Tokitoh, ... well now. NOT GOOD"), but could you go more in-depth?

Additional stuff, because I was reminded:

this is almost certainly what happens when Tokitoh breaks off in the middle of his "Kubo-chan".

Also, Kubota kinda refers to Tokitoh as his 'god', who he needs because he's weak, involume 3. He's all kinds of messed up in his head. XD

Thank you so much for clarifying! I find Kubota's almost complete (mental/emotional/whatever) dependence on Tokitoh fascinating. I've been reading some translations, and just wow. How Kubota apologizes (in his head) for not wanting Tokitoh to learn about who he is and putting him, as you say, on the pedestal of a god-figure.

I THINK THIS MAN HAS ISSUES. Just maybe.

Also, Tokitoh is such a jealous wife. (I wonder, do Tenpou and Kenren switch roles every reincarnation? :D <- ignoring the fact that Kubota and Tokitoh have never even been hinted at as being reincarnations except being almost completely the same.)

On everyone else's meme I asked retarded questions like "What does X think of cheese?" (Important character info, I swear!)

But I'd actually like to know if Hakkai is as freaked out by Cher knowing about his past and the manner in which she found out as she is.

And also, Umeda's favourite designers.

And Kubota's thoughts on cheese.

AHAHAHAHA. Yay more questions! I was worrying I was dull or somethin'!

OKAY. Hakkai -- yes. VERY freaked out. He tries not to show it, and he appreciates that she tries not to, but he feels sort of "WELL THAT'S A SUCKY WAY TO GET THE INFO OUT SHE KNOWS NOTHING OF THE IMPORTANT THINGS AND EVERYTHING OF THE... BAD THINGS BUT I CAN'T JUST BRING IT UP AGAIN", sort of thing.

This is canon! Umeda's favourite designer is Helmut Lang. He's worn Dolce, not because he likes most of his stuff ("His season pattern is good, not the rest) but because Ryouichi likes him in it and has forced the outfits on him.

Kubota doesn't dislike cheese, but he prefers sweet and salty things.

You are sparkly and fabulous like a disco ball.

This makes me want to interact with Hakkai more. Because the awkward, it is funny.

Ooh, Helmut Lang! Very nice clothes too. (I am almost as much of a designer brand whore as my character, true story.)

PS. I read Wild Adapter Vols 1 & 2 the other week and ♥!

Hooray!

IT IS. We should interact more!

I know nothing about designers, but then, I wear HORRIBLE BAGGY HAND ME DOWN CLOTHING, which ...yeah, you know. But Umeda looks all stylin. Even if he's so emo right now.

YAY. ♥

So what exactly do Hakkai and Kubota each think about having a ZOMGDOPPELGANGER all of a sudden?

And I'd ask a question about possible playercest here, but it's already been asked I see :)

Kubota minds very slightly, in that it's an omen of death. Hakkai's playing it cool, but since the only time Hakkai encounters a copy of himself he goes a bit creepy mode, and later sticks his hand through its chest, I'm thinking it's fair to assume that he does NOT like the thought of having one around. Probably for the same reason as Kubota, but added to the 'slight' identity issues he's got.

Hee!

Umeda and Hakkai would both angst over HAVING a wish but probably not tell anyone. In the end, Umeda would probably either waste it or be selfish and ask that Ryouichi pick and get it over with.

Hakkai would end up saying that he has everything he wants at this moment, but save his wish for later, in case he ever needed it. He's pragmatic that way.

Kubota, however, would use his: Let Tokitoh find what he wants to.

[LAUGH] Not at all. But it seemed fun to let her thik that he MIGHT think it. Umeda... really likes joking around with people. It's like his one weakness.
