I've always really enjoyed that idea of Orihime cutting her hair... it just feels like it would be such a symbolic action for her. And I feel like you captured the possible weight that such a thing could hold. The flow of her thoughts, that sort of wavering between just giving in to the sadness and regret over her failures and steeling her determination to grow into her potential, was all really well done. <3

My only critique is that it randomly switches between past and present tense, which can become distracting. Otherwise lovely.
