In which Miranda pops in on Ben
Her uncle had a new mechanic.
It had taken her about a week to find out about it -- Pete had learned early on not to tell Miranda when there was a change of servicemen in the basement of his garage, and she'd gotten used to finding out on her own. She did, however, insist on meeting all of them. Just to see how well they were furnishing her uncle's babies.
She bounced lightly on her heels as she rode the elevator down. She never liked the last guy. She knew he was up to no good, which is why he never managed to get in her pants. But she was always willing to give each new mechanic a clean slate, and based on what Mitch had said, this guy was looking to be a good thing.
She was humming softly to herself as the doors opened, and all she could see of the guy was what wasn't bent over the edge of the car. Frankly, she didn't consider it all that bad a view. She smirked to herself before starting to make her way over, looking him over as she went.
"Now that's a view a girl likes to see."
