I had been trying to write this ever since Eggtown, but for some reason, could only finish it now.

Ha, that does sound dirty. Maybe I should reword that. I had it in my head when I first started this story back in March that he did not want to stay, but had to. Even after SNBH, I stand by that. I think that Sawyer will choose to stay in order to search for Claire. At least that is what I would like to see happen.

But I am glad that you liked it. I know there is more to the show than this, but I cannot help but wish that the writers would give us more that just the glimpses they have of Hurley and Sawyer as roommates. They could not be more opposite, and yet, you get the impression that they have grown really close, especially in light of the "You harm as much as one hair on his curly head, I’ll kill you" comment. I hate that they are separated. :(

Finally, some really funny, well written, totally in character Lost!fic humor!! Excellent all the way around - every turn of phrase, every word both thought and spoken - just damn good fun all around.

This was really good! I laughed all the way through, especially at Sawyer's Teen Wolf and baby seal comments, and his disgust at the cheese puff dust on his hands. You created excellent imagery of Hurley, playing video games with his tongue out. If this is summer camp, sign me up! I think I'm more upset at the odd couple being split up soon than anyone else (not counting Claire and Aaron, of course)!

I love that Hurley and Sawyer have kind of glomped on to one another after having been abandoned (in one way or another) by the people closest to them on the island. I would like to see a little remorse from future!Hurley at having left behind his buddy, but sadly, I think the writers have more important things to show us.

Oh how I love Sawyer & Hurley. I loved grumpy!Sawyer at the start not being impressed about the cosmetics & then Hurley saying that the whole place was like 1977 - so true!
& Claire's smile making him feel less angry & making him smile was just TOO perfect!

Sawyer and Hurley are my favorite pairing on the show, hands down. I only wish the writers would show us a little more! Thank you for reading!
